Client: George P. Johnson, for Salesforce
Venue: “Dreamforce National Park” – multiple venues in downtown San Francisco
Dreamforce is the largest nonprofit technology conference in the world. This mega conference gathers the entire Salesforce community for a family reunion of sorts, set within an incredible landscape of custom-made national parks, hosted at venues such as the Moscone Center, InterContinental and Hotel Nikko in San Franscisco.
For this project, 800 PLANT IT did not supply the larger-than-life trees; we were brought in by XM agency George P. Johnson to design and assemble the finishing touches. Each park had it’s own palette and panache – from the type of mulch surrounding the trees to the wood edging enclosing each mini playground.
Once again, this was a huge event with staggering numbers and obstacles to overcome. Hundreds of people working simultaneously… getting ready for more than 250,000 attendees who would soon be piling in. This was an exercise in patience, flexibility and hyper organization. And it was awesome.
